Hello  fans of IHOH!

The new version of In Her Own Hands (version 0.6.2) is now available to the Public! This update is the next within the progression of the 0.6.x content. Any necessary bugfixes will be incorporated in our next release. The walk-through for this version was released with the Early Release to  Patreon patrons at $9 and above.

As we mentioned in our Patreon posts, this update brings new content and media in some fav storylines and different IHOH paths. Along with the hot happenings in the apartment, Abby's dare game hits a new level, City Lights / Shadows presents quite an interesting job opportunity, and Becca's feeling some new and different vibes by working at the record store. There are some spontaneous and crazy adventures that will - as always - broaden Becca's experiences as a single in the city.

One note, while we had originally planned to launch our protagonist into the online dating community with this release, we wanted to take a little more time to refine the interface and process of using the app. You can look forward to those adventures in the next release, for sure!

On the other hand, using a couple of newly discovered coding tricks, we were able to add all of the new content without affecting any old saves, so there is no need to use the "Update Save" feature if you are continuing from 0.6.1 or 0.6.1a! We will also be going back and redoing some old code over the next few updates, with the goal of removing that feature altogether!

We are thrilled with the improvements to the game with this release and are already working on the next, hoping to get back to our schedule of smaller and more regular bursts of additional content and media. Now that much of the foundation of the game has been established, the S&D Team is looking forward to really bringing more nuanced events, corruption paths, and branched choices for players as they navigate more deeply within "In Her Own Hands."
