Version 0.6.4a, the latest version of "In Her Own Hands," is now available to the public. This update is the final update within the progression of the 0.6.x content. 

If you previously downloaded 0.6.4, there was a bug in it that affected a couple of paths, most notably some of the early events in the Abby path. This bug has now been fixed, so you should download 0.6.4a. All of the content should be working properly now. Saved games from 0.6.4 (and previous versions after 0.6.1) should all be compatible with 0.6.4a with no further action required.

With the release of this version, the primary focus was to tie up a few loose ends that existed across the game before we move on to Version 0.7.0.

First, we've (finally!) fixed the series of events that occurs when you don't pay your rent on time. While we hope you don't end up going down this route, there are now consequences for not paying your rent, including a "bad end" tied to this series of events. This is by far the longest bit of writing in this update, with the most variable options.

Beyond that, we focused on adding some "flavor" with several new scenes that will randomly appear when working at the Bar or Diner. Additional updates include:

• Several ways for the protagonist to "feel good" in a non-sexual way.
• A few back-end changes to simplify and prepare for (story-related) expansion of a couple of phone functions, as well as some front-facing aesthetic and usability changes (*big* improvements, IMO!)
• A number of minor aesthetic changes/upgrades, and both major and minor bugs fixed. (See the change log for more specifics.)

We are excited to now move on to Version 0.7.0 which will be the most comprehensive storyline update since the launch of game. Every major character and storyline that exists will get a dedicated focus and update with intention, shaping where the story arc goes given the character's relationship with our female protagonist. Several characters will set off on a path that will impact play for the rest of the game, with naughty adventures at every turn. Some may have an intense burst of content that takes the game to a possible ending while others may continue along a progression based on the choices the player has made along the way – inhibition, corruption, sexual activity and proclivity, work and life experience, and more. In short, how you've played the game so far will crystalize the opportunities that arise in Version 0.7.x.

Along with these updates, will be revamping the Progress Tracker (found in the Progress tab in the sidebar) to better assist players as they navigate the game. We wanted to do that in tandem with the content updates so that all of it together provides the best playing experience. This will still only be hints to keep you on track, nothing like the comprehensive Official Walkthrough and Scene Guide that gives you all the dirty details, but we have heard your suggestions to make this more useful and will be tackling that in Version 0.7.x.

We will be sharing an update soon with the results of the recent patron poll and an overview of our plans for Version 0.7.0. We *cannot wait* for what is about to unfold. All we'll say in summary is that if you're not a Patron with Early Release benefits ("Surprise Me" and higher), you're gonna want to be there asap.
